IPSF’s support helps us bring a variety of programs to life, including our popular school musical and valuable summer classes. IPSF’s support at Beacon Park is vital to both our students and the school community. Their funding allows us to provide additional mental health resources, instructional aides, and PE support, enhancing both learning outcomes and student well-being. Last year, our Music team received the IPSF Innovation Grant. Their proposal was titled “Amplify the Future: Empowering Student Musicians,” and the purpose of the grant is to provide space, equipment, and performance opportunities for student-led ensembles, inspiring a love for music and confidence in performance. IPSF’s ongoing commitment to Irvine High School continues to create incredible opportunities for our students both in and out of the classroom. Their support provides a Certified Athletic Trainer, ensuring the daily safety, well-being, and education of our student-athletes. Students also benefit from enhanced academic programming through IPSF Innovation Grants. These grants have funded industry-standard 3D printers in our Engineering program, enabling hands-on learning; supported our Science courses with 3D anatomical models, giving students tangible experience with the human body; and helped create the first-ever district-wide Quiz Bowl competition. IPSF’s support has been so impactful for all our students here at Portola Springs. Their financial contributions, through parent/family gifts enables full-time Elementary Resource Counselors. Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Greber make a huge difference in teaching our student emotional regulation skills, self advocacy, and Social Emotional skillsets that are overarching for all content areas. These skills help us support resilient and caring members of our community. Additionally, our PK–3 Primary Music Program with Mrs. Wright and Mr. Ferrer, fosters students artistic development and musical expression.
