The City of Irvine is deeply committed to education, and has established a Challenge Match Grant in support of education, intended to inspire community participation in bridging the growing gap between state funding and school district needs. The program matches all funds raised through IPSF, up to $1.3 million annually, challenging local business and community members to actively support education.

The Hoag Foundation’s mission to educate, empower, and create greater opportunity for at-risk children aligns well with IPSF’s commitment to serving each child in every school in the diverse Irvine Unified School District. With their support, IPSF has funded an Innovation Lab at a local low income school to ignite students’ curiosity and promote hands on learning.

Howard Core supports IPSF’s Instrument Rental program, making more high quality instruments available to students so that they may enjoy the benefits of music education.
