Winter Bowl 2022

On Saturday, January 29, SoCal Elite Sports, in partnership with the Matt Leinart Flag Football League, hosted the Winter Bowl Flag Football Tournament to benefit Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) at the Great Park. This year, over 1100 players from 29 IUSD schools including virtual academy. Teams in grades three through eight, came together to represent their school and compete for the coveted Winter Bowl champion title.

“The purpose of these tournaments is to promote school spirit and unite the Irvine community through district-wide sports tournaments while providing exciting, fun opportunities for physical education and skill development for the students of IUSD,” explains Neda Eaton, President and CEO of Irvine Public Schools Foundation. “We are thrilled to see the Tournament of Champions return this year and are so grateful for the students, parents, coaches, and volunteers who come out in support of educational excellence.”
