November 18, 2020

On Thursday, November 5, 2020, Irvine Public Schools Foundation hosted our 10th annual Tee It Up for Education Golf Tournament at Strawberry Farms Golf Club. Honorary Chair, Danni Remington Smithson of Pacific Western Bank, joined civic, business, and education leaders throughout Orange County to golf and help IPSF raise over $75,000 to support the Educational Excellence Fund, an initiative that ensures students have access to opportunities including music and STEM programs.

“Although this year has presented us with many challenges, we are deeply grateful to our sponsors and community leaders who have continued to rally with us in support of educational excellence in Irvine,” said Neda Eaton, President and CEO of IPSF. “We continue to be inspired to find new ways to support our students and are fortunate to have incredible supporters who invest in tomorrow’s leaders and make a positive impact on the Irvine community.”

More than 25 companies and community organizations sponsored the tournament, raising funds to help support local public schools. IPSF welcomed an extended list of new and returning sponsors, including Pacific Western Bank, Kaiser Permanente, Advanced Office, RICOH, and The Resort at Pelican Hill.
